XLoom Communications, Inc reports that its newly-released InfiniFlame 12X is the industry’s first front-panel pluggable optical modules for interconnecting InfiniBand clusters. The InfiniFlame 12X is an optical transmitter/receiver pair that is a 12-channel InfiniBand-ready, optical interconnect that supports speeds of up to 30Gbits/s per port.
